Ambassador Kuang Weilin, Head of the Chinese Mission to the African Union, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Tedros Adhanom, Foreign Minister of Ethiopia on 5th August, 2015.
Warmly welcoming Ambassador Kuang as China's first permanent Representative to the African Union, Dr. Tedros spoke highly of the Ethiopia-China relations and the Africa-China partnership as a whole. He promised that Ethiopia will work closely with China to expand cooperation in various fields and continue to provide assistance to the Chinese Ambassador.
Ambassador Kuang expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia for its support and assistance to the establishment of the Chinese Mission to the African Union. He fully agreed that the two sides should join hands to promote the bilateral ties and China-Africa relations to a new level.
