Amb. Kuang elaborated on China’s firm support to Africa’s peace, security and development, emphasizing that as a sincere friend and strategic partner of Africa, China is playing an important role in Africa’s unity, integration and development. He also provided details on China’s active participation in UN peacekeeping missions in Africa, as well as its contribution to the fight against piracy off Somali waters and the fruitful cooperation with AU in the area of peace and security.
