Ambassador HU Changchun attended Seminar on Jointly Building an All-Weather China-Africa Community with a Shared Future for the New Era

On November 6, Ambassador Hu Changchun, Head of the Mission of China to the African Union, attended the Seminar on Jointly Building an All-Weather China-Africa Community with a Shared Future for the New Era co-hosted by the Mission and the Centre for Dialogue, Research and Cooperation. About 150 people attended the Seminar, including Mr. Khalid Boudali, Chairman of the Economic, Social and Cultural Council (ECOSOCC) of AU; Ambassador Khadijetou M'barek Fall, Chairperson of the Permanent Representatives Committee (PRC) Bureau of AU; representatives of AU institutions; ambassadors and diplomats from diplomatic missions; think tank scholars, etc. 

Ambassador Hu pointed out that the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Beijing Summit has achieved remarkable and fruitful results. China is willing to work with AU and African countries to actively implement the outcomes of the Summit and work together to promote modernization to build an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era.

Participates had in-depth exchanges of views on how to implement the outcomes of the Summit and better benefit the people of China and Africa, focusing on the topics of National Governance, Industrialization and Agricultural Modernization, Peace and Security, and High-Quality Belt and Road Cooperation.
