Amb. Jiang Feng Meets with AUC Commissioner for Economic Development, Trade, Tourism, Industry, and Minerals (ETTIM)
On April 7th, Amb. Jiang Feng, Head of the Mission of China to the African Union, met with H.E. Mrs. Francisca Tatchouop Belobe, AUC Commissioner for Economic Development, Trade, Tourism, Industry and Mining (ETTIM), in the presence of Minister Counselor Lyu Ruihao.

Amb. Jiang stated that changes unseen in a century is accelerating across the world, and the international economic and trade order has been severely disrupted. In this context, China stands ready to join hands with Africa in development, deepen pragmatic cooperation in various fields, and ensure that the outcomes of the FOCAC Beijing Summit benefit the African people more, so as to jointly build an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era. Recently, China plans to co-host the inaugural meeting of China-Africa Entrepreneurs Summit (CAES) with Africa, with an aim to establish a high-level platform for dialogue and cooperation between Chinese and African enterprises, and upgrade China-Africa cooperation. Amb. Jiang expressed his hope that both sides will work together to ensure the success of this important event.

H.E. Belobe extended sincere gratitude to China for its long-term and firm support to Africa and spoke highly of China’s full implementation of the zero-tariff measures. She expressed her willingness to work with China to successfully host CAES, strengthen strategic alignment, enable more pragmatic results, and contribute to Africa's industrialization process.
