Amb. Jiang Feng, Head of China Mission to AU, meets with the President of the Council of the African Space Agency
On July 29, H.E. Ambassador Jiang Feng, Head of the Mission of the People's Republic of China to the African Union, met with H.E. Tidiane Ouattara, the President of the Council of the African Space Agency(AfSA). Counsellor Zhai Dongsheng was present at the meeting.

Ambassador Jiang stated that the establishment of AfSA by the African Union marked a significant milestone in Africa's space development. China stands ready to work with AfSA to advance practical outcomes in China–Africa space cooperation. He also introduced the Global Governance Initiative, emphasizing China's willingness to work with AfSA and other AU organs to promote a more just and equitable global governance system and jointly build an all-weather China–Africa community with a shared future for the new era.

H.E. Tidiane Ouattara praised the traditional friendship between China and Africa and welcomed the Global Governance Initiative proposed by China. He expressed his willingness to promote exchanges between the space agencies and enterprises of both sides, with a view to contributing to the high-quality development of China–Africa relations.
