On August 14, Minister Zhang Wei, Deputy Head of the Mission of China to the African Union, met at the latter’s request with Ms. Tahereh Jalili, Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, briefed on the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges, and other relevant matters. The two sides exchanged views on cooperation with Africa and regional situation.
