Ambassador Kuang Weilin, Head of the Chinese Mission to the African Union, met with H.E. Dr. Nokosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Chairperson of the African Union Commission, on 26th November, 2015.

The in-depth discussion covered issues in various areas between China and the African Union, including the cooperation on three networks and industrialization and the establishment of African Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Ambassador Kuang also briefed the Chairperson on China’s arrangements for the Chairperson during the Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).

Dr. Zuma highly commended the Chinese Government for its long-term support to the China-AU relations as well as Africa’s development. The Chairperson also expressed her gratitude to China for the special arrangements for her during the upcoming FOCAC summit.
